Please join me in welcoming Beth Amundson as the University's new Registrar.
Beth comes to us from George Washington University in Washington, DC, and has served GW in a variety of capacities for over three decades. Most notably known as GW’s Vice Provost and Registrar, Beth has played a vital role in the University’s core student services and enrollment systems, in addition to supporting commencement exercises, guiding the University’s student information systems, and serving as secretary to the faculty senate along with a variety of other committees. Beth brings a plethora of knowledge regarding policy development and implementation as well as valuable system implementations over the years to include Banner, EMS & Degree Works.
Beth noted, "I am really excited to be joining the Sewanee community. While the campus architecture is gorgeous and the natural beauty of The Domain is breathtaking, it was the people that I met during my first visit to campus that convinced me that this institution is truly a unique and special place."
Beth will be a part of the Student Success Leadership Team as well.
Please help us in giving Beth and her husband, Dan, a very warm, Sewanee Welcome!
