The use of an Advising PIN ensures that students have an opportunity for advising prior to each registration period, to help guide them through course selection, registration, and their degree program. Students must obtain their Advising PINs from their advisor prior to registration and retain it through the current semester's withdrawal period.
Advising PINs are provided to department and program chairs in the event an advisor is indisposed for an extended period.
The University Registrar’s Office does not make advising PINs available to students.
